Overview

STRIDE BP is an international scientific non-profit organization founded by hypertension experts with the mission of improving the accuracy of blood pressure measurement and the diagnosis and management of hypertension. STRIDE BP provides international guidance and practice tools on the methodology and technology for accurate blood pressure evaluation according to the latest scientific evidence.

Scientific Structure

STRIDE BP is governed by an Executive Management Board and a Scientific Advisory Board composed of 24 experts from 16 countries in all 5 continents all of whom are acknowledged authorities in cardiovascular medicine, hypertension and blood pressure measurement. STRIDE BP operates in affiliation with the European Society of Hypertension, the International Society of Hypertension and the World Hypertension League.

Institutional Structure and Framework

STRIDE BP is a non-profit organisation founded in 2019. It has been established within the Hypertension Centre STRIDE-7 at the Athens University in Greece, which is a non-profit research and educational organization founded in 1992 by the European Economic Community STRIDE (Science and Technology for Regional Innovation and Development in Europe) program, aiming to develop research infrastructure facilities across Europe.
